JEAWON CHOI
Jaewon Choi is one of the prominent film producers in South Korea. He has previously held the position of Vice Chairman of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) and was the Honorary Executive Chairman of the Ulsan International Film Festival. Before that, he served in various pivotal roles for film companies, such as Director of Warner Bros Korea, CEO of Barunson Film Division, Withus Film, N.E.W., IPICTURES, and more.
Presently, he serves as the CEO of Anthology Studios, a company he co-founded with director Kim Jee Woon and actor Song Kang Ho. Their latest cinematic work, “Cobweb,” was released in Vietnam in October 2023.
Jaewon Choi has initiated and produced several films well-recognized by Vietnamese audiences, including “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring” (2003), “The Good, The Bad, The Weird” (2008), “The Attorney” (2013), “Jo Pil-Ho, The Dawning Rage” (2019), “Killing Romance” (2023)… The success of these works has elevated Jaewon Choi’s status, establishing him as one of South Korea’s leading film producers and earning him the Producer of the Year award at the 14th Director’s Cut Awards.
