WAHYUNI HADI

Yuni Hadi is an arts management consultant and programmer, having spent the last 20 years promoting Southeast Asian cinema. She started out as a Programme Manager for The Substation, establishing many core film programmes and went on to be Commissioning Editor of MediaCorp Arts Central. Hadi went on lead organizations as Co-Director of Objectifs Centre for Photography & Filmmaking spearheading the Objectifs Films label, and Executive Director of the Singapore International Film Festival. In 2013, Hadi published the book Behind the Camera and co-produced the film Ilo Ilo. In 2015, The Substation acknowledged her contribution to Singapore cinema with an Honourary Award at the Singapore Short Film Awards. Hadi is an Eisenhower Fellow and received the United Technologies Corporation Fellowship in 2016. In 2022, she received the Professional Achievement Award by Ramkhamhaeng University’s ASEAN Film Festival for outstanding contribution to ASEAN cinema. She is currently Executive Director at ArtsEquator and serves on the board of Objectifs and is Chairperson of The Substation.
